Profile of Murdoch Dubai

Murdoch University International Study Centre Dubai was established in 2008 as a core branch of Murdoch University which is based in Perth, Western Australia. The Murdoch Dubai campus is situated at Dubai International Academic City and the university is licensed by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA).

Providing state-of-the-art facilities, excellent student-staff ratios, outstanding student support services and world class technology, students are equipped with real-life skills and have access to the highest education standards globally.

The facilities at the Dubai International Academic City campus include modern lecture theatres, Administrative Offices and Student Support Services as well as an AED 5.5 million Media Arts Centre. The campus features a fully professional HD TV studio, a sound recording studio, two control rooms, an editing suite, a video editing suite, an advanced editing suite and three radio studios.

Murdoch Dubai provides a library learning common that acts as a one-stop-shop for student learning and services. Students also have access to all databases that are provided by the main campus in Australia. Our Teaching and Learning Centre (TLC) provides direct assistance to both undergraduate and postgraduate students to acquire the language and academic skills required for success at university, organizing workshops on a range of topics including essay writing, referencing, presentations, academic writing and time management. Murdoch Dubai also offers scholarships to deserving students.

All courses at Murdoch Dubai follow the same academic requirements as the courses offered in Australia. Murdoch Dubai awards an internationally recognized Australian degree, exactly the same as the one conferred on campus in Australia. This ensures a 100% transfer of credits if a student wishes to, at any point of time, study at Murdoch in Australia and pursue the same degree course, guaranteeing seamless education.
