MUISCD launches 2010 Student Photography Competition - 24/02/2010

Murdoch University Dubai has launched a student photography competition open for three categories, the UAE high school students, the UAE university students and the Murdoch University Dubai media students enrolled in a photography unit during the spring semester.

Murdoch Dubai students selected for ‘RJ for a Day’ with 106.2 Hum FM - 03/12/2009 Following the success of Anika Habib, a Murdoch Dubai second year Media student who recently qualified in a competition to become an ‘RJ for a Day,’ run by UAE based radio station 106.2 Hum FM, three more students from Murdoch have been selected to go live on the show to showcase their RJ skills.

MUISCD announces collaboration with NewzMakerz.com - 17/11/2009 Murdoch Dubai has teamed up with a GCC online business information website, NewzMakerz.com, in an exciting new project allowing students to contribute to the production of the content on the website.

	MUISCD honours first MBA graduates - 25/10/2009 Murdoch Dubai honoured its first MBA graduates at a special Graduation Celebration Dinner organised on Sunday 25 October at the One and Only Royal Mirage hotel in Dubai.

MUISCD awards 28 scholarships for the academic year 2009-2010 - 26/06/2009 The selection criteria in the undergraduate category concentrated on merit, academic excellence, participation in extra-curricular activities and overall achievements. At the postgraduate level, the scholarship was awarded based on impressive academic records and demonstrated excellence at work.

	MUISCD conducts a free Digital Media Seminar on Multimedia Blogging in collaboration with Dubai International Academic City and Dubai Studio City - 20/05/2009 The seminar, attended by students, media and marketing professionals as well as small business owners, was organized on the 20th of May 2009 at 6.30pm at the Dubai Knowledge Village Conference Centre.

	Murdoch scores top rating for Good Universities Guide - 28/8/2008 Murdoch University once again achieved the top (five-star) rating for graduate satisfaction with the release of the 2009 Good Universities Guide.

	Sheikh Nahayan inaugurates Murdoch University International Study Centre Dubai campus - 28/10/2008 H.E. Sheikh Nahayan Bin Mubarak Al Nahayan, the UAE Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, inaugurated the Murdoch University International Study Centre Dubai campus at the Dubai International Academic City on Monday the 27th of October 2008.
