Undergraduate Academic Entry Requirements more

Admission into undergraduate studies requires a grade 12 Australian equivalent and proof of English proficiency.

English Language Requirements

In order to gain admission to Murdoch University, applicants whose first language is not English must demonstrate competency in the English language.

This requirement can be met by achieving a score in one of the below English language proficiency tests, or by completing two years at an accredited tertiary institution where the language of instruction is English.

Postgraduate Academic Entry Requirements more

There are two convenient ways to gain admission into Postgraduate study with Murdoch University Dubai. The most common way is to apply based on a successfully completed degree. Alternatively you can apply based on relevant workforce experience.

Applying based on your degree more more

To gain admission into postgraduate study with Murdoch University Dubai your degree will need to meet the same academic standards as an Australian three year Bachelor degree. This does not mean that it has to be an Australian degree.

Applying based on relevant workforce experience more

To gain admission into postgraduate study with Murdoch University Dubai you will need to provide evidence of having relevant workforce experience of between five to eight years. This will also need to be supported by a CV and personal statement following specific criteria.

Murdoch University Preparation Course more

If you do not meet the minimum entry requirements then you may be eligible to join our Murdoch University Preparation Course! After successful completion of the MUPC you can gain direct entry into undergraduate study with Murdoch University.

MUPC entry requirements:

The MUPC is a course for:

Students who have completed Year 11 or an equivalent level in another country by Australian standards. These students are required to take six units over two trimesters to qualify for entry into the undergraduate degree program at Murdoch University.
Students who are required to take a Foundation Course before gaining entry to Murdoch University. These students are required to take six units over two trimesters.
Students who have completed the equivalent of Year 12 by Australian standards but do not meet the minimum academic requirements of Murdoch University. These students are required to take a minimum of four units which can be completed over two trimesters.
Mature Age students (19+), who do not have the requisite University entry qualifications, are required to take three or four units, which can be completed over one or two trimester’s contingent upon the extent and quality of their life and work experience.
